I like the subject along with the blue sky and clouds in the background. It carries the eyes around the image.

Lovely image, Nice crisp colors throughout the image, and I love the color and texture of the trunk as well.I almost wish you had a close up of the trunk. I have a thing for textures, and that one looks interesting. I wonder how old is the tree? I know these desert dwellers tend to be much older than they appear.
Kari:Thanks, I know the old trunks and trees in the Grand Canyon are 300 years and older so I suppose these are similar...what they must have already seen ;-)
